Booking Terms & Guest Policies

Aye-Scotland Journeys - 2027 Cancellation & Refund Policy...

Our tours are intentionally small and highly curated.  Your reservation allows us to secure boutique accommodations, private dining experiences, transportation and exclusive activities well in advance.  Because many of these arrangements require non-refundable deposits, the following cancellation policy applies:

Reservation Deposit

* An $850 per person deposit is required to reserve your place

* The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Final Payment

* Final payment is due 120 days before departure:  all payments made, excluding the $850 deposit, will be refunded.

* 120-91 days before departure: 50% of payments received (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.

* 90 days or fewer before departure: No refund.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation and interruption coverage is strongly recommended and should be purchased soon after making your initial deposit.

Cancellation by Aye-Scotland Journeys

If we must cancel the tour due to insufficient enrollment or circumstances beyond our control, all monies paid to Aye-Scotland Journeys will be refunded.  We are not responsible for airline tickets, travel insurance premiums or other expenses booked independently by guests.

Alcohol & Guest Conduct

Aye-Scotland Journeys is designed as a relaxed, small-group cultural and culinary experience.  While many of our meals pair beautifully with wine or other beverages, this is not a drinking focused tour.

Alcoholic beverages are not included in the tour price.  Guests are responsible for purchasing any alcoholic drinks they choose to enjoy during meals or at any other time throughout the tour.

Guests are expected to consume alcohol responsibly and in moderation.  Any behavior that, in the judgment of the Tour Host, negatively affects the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of other guests - including intoxication, disruptive behavior, excessive loudness, harassment, or repeated inappropriate conduct - will not be tolerated.

Aye-Scotland Journeys reserves the right to remove any guest from the tour, without refund, whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or detrimental to the experience of the group.  Any additional accommodations, transportation, or travel arrangements resulting from such removal will be the sole responsibility of the guest.

Our goal is to create an enjoyable, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere where every guest can fully experience the beauty, hospitality, and culture of Scotland.

Guests are expected to be courteous, punctual, respectful of fellow travelers, local hosts, guides, and accommodations.  Repeated behavior that significantly detracts from the group's experience may result in dismissal from the tour without refund.
