3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

The $850 reservation deposit is non-refundable.

Because accommodations, transportation, dining, and private experiences require advance commitments, additional payments become progressively non-refundable as the tour approaches.

• Cancellation September 15 through November 30, 2026: 50% of payments received above the deposit are refundable, less non-refundable supplier charges already committed specifically for the guest.

• Cancellation on or after December 1, 2026: All payments are non-refundable.

If Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours is able to fill the guest’s place with another paying traveler, additional amounts recovered may, at the discretion of Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours, be refunded less the non-refundable deposit, unrecoverable costs, and reasonable administrative expenses.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.

4. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Guests are encouraged to obtain coverage that includes trip cancellation and interruption, medical care abroad, emergency evacuation, travel delay, baggage, and other appropriate protections.

Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours is not responsible for losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.

5. Itinerary Changes

The published itinerary represents the planned tour experience. Travel in Scotland can be affected by weather, transportation, supplier availability, closures, and circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours.

Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours reserves the right to make reasonable changes to accommodations, restaurants, activities, timing, routing, or transportation when necessary and will endeavor to provide a comparable experience whenever practical.

6. Guest Responsibilities, Mobility & Participation

Guests are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate in the itinerary.

The tour may include walking on uneven surfaces and cobblestones, climbing stairs, visiting historic properties without lifts, getting in and out of the tour vehicle, and periods of standing or walking.

Guests should disclose any mobility considerations, dietary restrictions, food allergies, or other participation needs that may require advance planning.

Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed needs but cannot guarantee that every venue, property, or activity will be able to do so.

7. Group Conduct & Alcohol

This is a small-group culinary and cultural tour. Alcohol may be available at some venues, but alcoholic beverages are not the focus of the tour and are the individual responsibility of each guest unless specifically stated otherwise.

Guests are expected to treat fellow travelers, hosts, drivers, staff, and local residents respectfully.

Behavior that is unsafe, threatening, repeatedly disruptive, harassing, excessively intoxicated, or materially interferes with the group experience may result in removal from an activity or from the remainder of the tour.

A guest who is removed from the tour is responsible for any resulting lodging, transportation, meals, and return-travel expenses and is not entitled to a refund for unused tour services.

8. Travel Documents & Transportation

Each guest is responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid passport, any required travel authorizations, and meeting all applicable entry requirements for travel to the United Kingdom.

Unless expressly included in writing, international airfare is arranged independently by the guest.

Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours is not responsible for missed tour services resulting from flight delays or cancellations, denied entry, missing or invalid travel documents, or late arrival.

9. Independent Suppliers & Responsibility

Hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, guides, farms, venues, and other suppliers used during the tour are independent providers.

To the extent permitted by law, Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, injuries, losses, or service failures caused by independent suppliers or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. Organizer Cancellation or Major Disruption

If Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours cancels the entire tour for reasons within its control, amounts paid by the guest will be refunded to the extent not already returned or credited.

If cancellation, interruption, or a material alteration results from circumstances beyond reasonable control—including severe weather, government action, transportation disruption, public emergency, or supplier failure—Aye-Scotland Culinary Tours will make reasonable efforts to recover or obtain credit for supplier funds but cannot guarantee recovery of non-refundable amounts.

11. Online Acceptance

By checking the required “I have read and agree to the Tour Participation Agreement” box on the online registration form and proceeding to payment, the guest confirms that she has had the opportunity to read this Agreement and agrees to its terms, including the payment schedule, cancellation policy, travel responsibilities, and group conduct expectations.
